Life @ SISTec

Life @ SISTec: “Engineering” considered being a field of brain, technical knowledge and day and night study. With hundreds of engineering colleges budding in every nook and corner of the states, it has merely become a misnomer now. Moreover the level of education is not at all qualitative; it is just certifying one as an engineer with the caliber not more than a senior secondary pass.  So to explore and inspire students, life@SISTec aims to develop their inner potential both in academics and extracurricular activities. Art, culture, drama, dance, music, ballet, singing and other forms bring out creativity of an individual. Our college encourages students to have clubs that can act as a forum to plan for training and performances. To explore and promote all events, it offers courses, co-curricular certificates, workshops and retreats which focus on self-leadership, team leadership, developing vision, organizational leadership and social change. Life@sistec includes clubs of art, music, literary, dancing, events of Sagar Manthan, Fiesta, Shine & Euphoria. It includes pre-placement training such as quantitative and aptitude training, group discussion , mock interview, news paper reading, Yoga, campfire and movies for entertainment. Sagar shine activities includes quiz, lan gaming, floral decoration, T-shirt designing, solo singing, technical exhibition, Hindi debate, mimicry, kavi sammelan, debugging, treasure hunt, roborace, paper presentations. Various student council committees such as Sports, Technical, Cultural, President, Academic, Hostel & Mess committee are formed which enhances leadership quality and development.
If one wants to develop their professional skills, SAGAR has something for everyone. To succeed in studies and as a professional engineer, you’ll need strong writing and speaking skills. The institutions will teach you how to be an effective communicator. We get student to enact role plays, make extempore speeches, hold jam sessions, recite poetry and participate in debates. Group Discussions and mock interviews are carried out regularly.
In order to improve confidence level of the students, apart from regular curricular teaching, a number of training programmes are organized round the year with experts in the field. In term of technical and professional education, workshops are conducted imparting training on C, C++ , Dot.net., Web technology. Students of Mechanical and Electrical branch are provided with Auto Cad training programme by the experts in the field. Students are encouraged to present papers as well as participate in Seminars and Conferences organized in house as well as by outside colleges.
