The leadership Education in Engineering, the first initiative of its kind for engineering in Sagar group of institutions. Life@sistec includes club of art, music, literary, dancing, events of Sagar Manthan, Fiesta, Shine & Euphoria. Various student council committees are formed which explores leadership education and development. The Sagar Group, founded by Shree Sudhir Kumar Agrawal in 1983, is one of the fastest growing private sector enterprises, with its first engineering college SISTec set up in the year 2007, after its grand success SISTec-E near Sikandrabad Ratibad, Bhopal was establishment  in the year 2009. SISTec-E is a premier research-intensive tertiary institution which focuses on creativity and innovation. We strive to ensure that students, especially those from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in engineering, have the opportunity to realize their aspirations while also contributing their unique ideas, skills, talents, and strengths to the daily life of the College of Engineering. The goal of Training & Placement Cell is to Provide employment opportunities and world class training to the Students. The Placement Cell at SISTec-E is a fully student coordinated body which  works under the guidance of the Principal and Placement Cell Officer. The Placement Cell conducts placement training activities in the campus to prepare the students to meet the needs of corporate world.

The pre final year students gets an opportunity to attend Sagar Manthan .An internships program done to  get exposure to the corporate world. lt would give them a clear picture of the actual  corporate scenario and hence would make them perform better later at work. It would also serve as a platform for them to sharpen their work skills.

Apart from academics other activities like sports, cultural, extracurricular and social are equally important to boost their confidence, improve communication/presentation skill, build team spirit,inculcate sportsmanship, leadership quality and decision making ability. As per my thoughts following four parameters should consider for saying top 10 engineering college in Bhopal:

 ACADEMIC WISE

Under this parameter following activities are involved:

•  Faculty availability and expertise in relevant subject: In SISTec-R expert faculty and lab staff are available as per AICTE rule and regulation. In the field of Thermal Engineering, Design, Production and Management, experienced and expert faculty are available.  
• In-house training and development programme: SISTec-R conducts departmental in-house training in each semester i.e. ANSYS, Auto CAD, MAT Lab, and Workshop on Automobile etc. And “SAGAR MANTHAN” for overall personality development. 
• Practical exposure: SISTec-R provides practical exposure i.e. Industrial training, Paper presentation, Seminars, Workshops, Competitive exam preparation etc.

Tutor Guardian System:

•    A faculty member, known as a teacher guardian, is allotted a group of 30 students.
•       The teacher guardian keeps an eye on each student of the group to follow his/her progress, namely day to day attendance and their academics.
•           At times, the teacher guardian has dialogue with student’s guardian for all types of problems related to him/her for better results

Sport class: In SISTec-R Separate male and female sport officer are available who are conducting different games i.e. indoor, outdoor games. Only SISTec-R is the institute in Bhopal where Rugby sport is played.
 Discipline in college campus: SISTec-R maintains good discipline in a campus. The campus is fully free from ragging and also try to maintain it in college buses by faculty and staff members of the instate.
Residential college: It means that, SISTec-R provides Faculty and other staff quarters, Boy’s and Girl’s hostels in a campus.    

INFRASTRUCTURE WISE

Infrastructure wise not only means that buildings but it means that subject wise laboratory setup, workshops, conference hall, A/V rooms, computer lab and advance departmental software laboratory etc. All above facility are available in SISTec-R i.e. Infrastructure wise SISTec-R is good.

 PLACEMENT WISE

Unlike of other Groups, Sagar Group of Institutions provides more placements in mechanical engineering department. The students of Mechanical Engineering 2013 batch having more than 70% placements in various fields of core companies.

 MANAGEMENT WISE

Management is enthusiastic, morally supported as well as financially encourages the growing up of students as well as staff members of group. Many a times management organised get together events at their own cost like big boss, water fun at SISTec- GN. Similarly they have organised many of events in Sagar fiesta, Sagar shine and teacher’s day at no cost from students.

Even in technical fest at other institutes like NITs and IITs reimbursement for travelling and accommodation expanses afforded by the management for seeking a position in tech fest.

As we know that the Sagar Institute of Science, Technology & Research (SISTec-R) is one of the renowned and best engineering institute in Bhopal as well in whole Madhya-Pradesh.  According to me the students need two things: good quality education and developing an interest for studying and learning, both these primarily will depend on the quality of faculties. The most important thing that goes into making a good institution is a good faculty. If we talk about our faculty members, so most of them are M Tech or pursuing M Tech. In my opinion the better the faculty, the better should be the output (semester examination results).  If we see today’s scenario  the Infrastructure of the college plays an important role in the students mind. the  Infrastructure should be better than other colleges and we can find it in whole Sagar group of institutions. The Internet facility (Wi-Fi) for the students is also available in the college campus as well as in hostels. In today's society, almost all students and parents take the value of the first paycheck as the only measure of success. So, the placement in the Sagar Institute of Science, Technology & Research is the best as compare to other engineering college in Bhopal.  Many companies have visited and many more to come for  hire the students having good attitude got from the Sagar institute in Bhopal.  As my point of view Sagar institutes in Bhopal  prepare the students for his/her first job in all the areas like technical as well as aptitude. The aptitude part is covered by our training and placement cell. They also focus on preparing the students  for the interview for the first job, including  how to dress up for the occasion. If we talk about the library facility, both in terms of books as well subscription of journals are best in whole Sagar group of institutions. The library facility is also available for the all faculties. As far as my concern all the department are working very efficiently in SISTec-R as well as the Examination Cell is also conducting the examination in proper way and very smoothly. Apart from the college if we talk about the hostel, so it is also running in the college campus and it provides the world class facilities to the students living there. In my opinion the mess facility is very nice in the hostel in SISTec-R. Our Institute also have sports facilities on campus, this also reflects that residential campuses are generally better for quality of education than campuses where students are day scholars. Sports department conducting its games lecture for all the semesters students and all the students participating in that games period. Finally the atmosphere regarding teaching, studying and learning in Sagar group of institutions is very nice and the students showing it by their semester examination results.
