Sagar Institute of Science & Technology is one of the top emerging institutes in Bhopal. This is the only the technical institute where students are top priority. Whatever this institute do, it is in the favour of students. Sagar Institute is always focus what best can be offered to students in terms of academics,  character development, extracurricular activities, co curricular activities, update students at least par with top institutes of MP, provide intensive training to students for their placements, etc. I am sure it is the vision of our honourable chairman Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal. I have been part of this institute from the day one. I always hear only one thing from his mouth.  Anything we do, it must be with full heart for the benefit of students only. He personally interacts with students and provides all facilities to them. He is man of care and concern for others. He cares each and every member of his organisation, whether that member may be lowest worker or high authority of that organisation. I can speak so much about him. But, I would like to do that in terms of his vision of providing a quality technical education for young students. So, he established Sagar Institute of Science & Technology in 2007.

I would like to share one of my experiences with you all. When AICTE team inspected in May 2007, first comment they made was that this is the one of the richest institutes with high quality of infrastructure. While they were verifying everything like no of faculty members, lab equipment, lab rooms, class rooms, etc as per AICTE norms. It is amazing that in some cases we have much better than their norms. They were very much impressed with institute and we got in couple of weeks approval letter. Next year they started Pharmacy College, consequently Sagar MBA, and then M.Tech Courses in various departments of engineering and M.Pharma courses in Sagar Pharmacy College. By today Sagar group of institutes have three engineering colleges in Bhopal with 1500 intake in BE, 60 intakes in B.Pharma, 120 intake in MBA, around 152 intakes in M.Tech and 36 intake in M.Pharma.

Right from the beginning emphasis was on academics. Every department of Sagar group of institutions have well qualified and learned faculty members. Each and every course taught in the institutes has detailed lesson plan. All courses are monitored on weekly basis through Teacher’s dairy.  They have well equipped labs in comparison with other top institutes in Bhopal. Tutor guardian system is most successful in this group of institutions. Every faculty member takes full responsibility for 30 students. They ready to help students in every possible way in their academics, in their personal life, etc. Another strong point of this group of institutions is that they maintain cleanliness which is next to godliness. This is the only institute in Bhopal that every member of the family first takes blessings of Goddess Sarasavathi and then they start their duties. Sagar group of institutions known for maintaining quality hostels. This is the only group of institutions where all four year students stay together in hostels. Hostels are like a home away from home. They provide quality food, nice play grounds, Wi-Fi enabled internet campus, Providing English news paper in every hostel room, Library facilities are available till 8-00pm. I can speak so much about this institute. But, as per given limit, I expressed my limited perspective about this top emerging institute.
